Fishing

True fishermen think nothing of getting out of bed at the crack of dawn and find their way to the nearest river to throw out their lines then wait patiently for the fish to bite. It is a game of patience and one they undertake with pleasure, a small fire pit, pan ready for the catch and some hot coffee to stave off the early morning frost. This fisherman found a buddy he did not expect, a tiny deer that latched on to him as 'father' of the year. I enjoyed the pictures, the expressions and the love the fisherman found without another thought to the fish waiting to be caught.
A kiss is a kiss, how can one resist?

Go home to your mother! Okay, then I'll give you a lift . . . but all this little guy wanted was a fishing buddy and I think he got one.
It is Friday, the end of a busy work week for a lot of you. Daughter Pat is on her way to the Ferry today and anticipates a three day fun trip, meeting new people, enjoying views she has never seen before and praying that she does not get sea sick to which she is prone. She has ginger and a few other remedies with her but hopefully she wont have to use them. I think she has worried more about sea sickness than meeting up with a bear or two. I miss her. I love her and I am hoping that this trip proves to be 'the trip' of a lifetime.
Meanwhile I have been busy sprucing up my place for Paula's visit. She will be here tomorrow and we will have two weeks to enjoy each others company and plot and plan some sight seeing trips around this area. The weather man promised sunshine but last evening it seems that rain is coming back with a vengeance . . . so we will run between the rain drops and go anyway.
So today, rain or shine, get up, get out and know you have a weekend coming up that is all yours. Do something you want to do, not something you 'have' to do. Stop in and light a candle for those in the armed forces as it is Arm Forces Day and each one needs that special thought for their well being. Light one for me, and you too, as we can use all the blessings we can get. Make today a day to remember. Hugs to all.
